THE CONCERT EXPERIENCE
ABOUT THE CONCERT SERIES
The Concert Series is CMH’s flagship public performance program, bringing ticketed chamber music concerts to premier venues across O‘ahu. Each year, from September through June, CMH presents an average of 16 Concert Series performances, with a distinct program offered nearly every month.
The series brings together strings, winds, brass, mixed ensembles, guest artists, and interdisciplinary collaborations. This allows CMH to present a season with unusual variety while staying rooted in the intimacy of chamber music.
WHAT MAKES CMH DIFFERENT?
Our Concert Series is built around resident ensembles.
This model allows CMH to create a season that reflects local artistry, long-term musical relationships, and programs designed specifically for Hawai‘i audiences. Because CMH brings together strings, winds, brass, along with guest artists, each season can move between different sounds, styles, and instrument combinations. From beloved masterworks to contemporary voices, guest artists, and theatrical collaborations, the Concert Series shows how expansive chamber music can be.
